Andrew is a Boston-based B2B ed-tech executive (currently Chief Strategy Officer at getAbstract) who enjoys applying systemic thinking to strategic challenges, as well as designing product platforms and the organizations needed to build them. Previously Andrew was the CEO at Safari Books Online (now the O’Reilly Learning Platform), where he grew ARR from $40M to $100M, leading to a full buyout from JV owner O’Reilly Media.
He served on the boards of the Book Industry Study Group (2 years as Chair) and the International Digital Publishing Forum. He also a sometimes-consultant, author, speaker, investor, conference organizer, and startup advisor. (And a very proud father of two wonderful kids!)
Andrews side projects include YieldTalk, with educational resources and detailed profiles of more than 100 investment crowdfunding and online alternative investment platforms.
